We know some animals such as rats, mice and rabbits are injected with cancerous cells, to determine if another injection of something may cure those cells. We, for two, are not willing to be guinea pigs for those tests. May anyone who screams 'foul' in using animals for testing, please volunteer to lay your lives and those of everyone you hold near and dear, on the line for volunteer testing, instead of the animals.

POTASSIUM SORBATE - is being used as a PRESERVATIVE in MANY cosmetics. Because we ingest it ALL THE TIME in food we eat, there are MANY of us, something like 2% of the population that is allergic to it. And it seems, when people are allergic to THIS ingredient, it's a bad reaction. I am one. Be VERY CAREFUL in testing things on your skin. Use SMALL areas, even if you believe the product to be ok. It may be only one ingredient that can cause an allergic reaction.
Ahhh, it's been pointed out to me lately, there are several sites that say they are all organic, all fresh, etc. Folks, if it has polysorbate in it, it's NOT organic. TEA, Disodium EDTA, these are BAD FOR YOU. Arbonne people say it's all organic. Lies. Body Deli says it's all organic, lies. Avalon Organics say they're all organic, lies.
Another one is companies using grapefruit seed extract as a preservative. Number 1, IF it preserves at all, it's because of the parabens used to preserve it. People will say it's preserved with gse, [grapefruit seed extract]. It won't preserve anything. And those that have preserved with essential oils. Essential oils DO NOT preserve water. They will preserve some oils to an extent, but they won't preserve WATER.
Dextromathorphan I'm almost positive I didn't spell it correctly. Go read it, a real eye opener.
To achieve greatest efficacy of our salves, we use as little unbleached beeswax as possible in our products, leaving the ingredients more room to be on your skin. If your product gets warm & looks like it's separating, just stir it all together!
