Description

1 oz of leaves will make a TON of tea. One quarter teaspoon and less of tea is in a tea bag.

This is back for a LIMITED time! SEABUCKTHORN LEAVES! 34% protein, these are the leaves of HEALTH!

Grown organically, no pesticides etc. They have listened to Puccini's O Cara Mio and other similar music.

They contain the same benefits of the berry oil. They are in pet food to make the manes of horses and other animals shiny.

Researchers have found ellagic acid and quercetins in the leaves. They found that ellagic acid in combination with quercetin exhibits antiangiogenic properties that may be useful for the prevention and treatment of a number of cancers.

The leaves have a significantly high amount of polyphenols in them. So, what does that mean?
"Polyphenols are reducing agents, and together with other dietary reducing agents, such as vitamin C, vitamin E and carotenoids, referred to as antioxidants, protect the body's tissues against oxidative stress and associated pathologies such as cancers, coronary heart disease and inflammation."

Sea buckthorn leaves contain antioxidants. [polyphenols], higher than oregano, hibiscus, parsely or green tea. Pretty amazing huh?   You will find the same level of polyphenols and flavonoids in sea buckthorn leaves as you will in green tea or roobios.

Studies have shown polyphenols are able to penetrate tissues, particularly those in which they are metabolized, like the intestines and liver. Epidemiological studies, [the skin] have repeatedly shown that the risk of chronic human diseases decreases with consuption of a polyphenolic rich diet.

There have been several studies done for decades on this oil and these leaves. Leaf extracts promote anti-inflamatory activity and could be useful in treating arthritis.

A study published in the Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture (2008), has found that extracts from sea buckthorn leaves also provide significant liver protection. Tannins, catechins, vitamin E, carotenoids, ferulic acid, flavonoids, and salicylic acid found in the leaves work to calm an overactive inflammatory response and absorb free radicals, while other nutrients provide the cells with needed nourishment.
Seabuckthorn leaf has anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties (Gupta et al.,2011).

Sea buckthorn leaves contain high amounts of beta carotene. Take some of that tea yo made for drinking and apply it to your skin. It will nourish, hydrate, and soothe inflamed and stressed skin.

Don't wait and have FOMO! There is a limited amount of these leaves for sale!

1 GLORIOUS ounce in a zip lock baggie! Actually, as you can see by the photo, it's more than one oz, 28g, but who's going to quibble? NOT ME!
