These products are for women, men, children, babies and your animals! All the information I have on the products is on this website and on An Apple A Day Etc Since each person's skin is different and each person likes to do things in different ways, we can only suggest what to use. We are not claiming these products will heal, cure, or change anything about you or your skin. I am not a doctor, chemist or scientist. I sell astringents, moisturizers and cleansers. People constantly tell me they love the info here and they have researched seabuckthorn [sbt sea buckthorn ] and keep coming back to our site and our products. We are happy you all are researching AND happy you come back to buy the best! Take control of your own health ladies and gentlemen. Listen to your hearts, your gut instincts. Relief N Rescue™. When using for any skin problem, apply it to clean skin at least once a day. More often is best. If you have purchased the seabuckthorn seed oil also, use it the opposite time you use the Relief N Rescue™. If you use the SBT oil in the morning, then use the Relief N Rescue™ at night. Neither has to be removed, nor should be. If using only the Relief N Rescue™, then use it twice a day, or more often if you have it with you. There are no chemicals in it. None. Moms use it on their babies. Adults use it on their parents. It's that safe. Relief N Rescue™ was THE FIRST completely herbal salve on the market used for eczema, rosacea, rashes, acne and other skin problems. This is how WE use it. How you use Relief N Rescue™ is entirely up to you. We are not claiming this will cure, heal or change anything about you or your skin. Skn Savr™. Since 1994 this has been the FIRST, completely herbal salve on the market that has faded marks, spots, scars, stretch marks and soothed rashes. However it's a moisturizer. How YOU use it is up to you. This is a salve. It is based on oils and herbs. For some, this is oily, for others, it's not. Some use it all over their face for bike rides, to prevent chapping. Some use it on stretch marks to help fade. Some use it on moles [I am one] to fade them. Some use it on sun spots and scars to fade them, like me. Some use it under their make-up as a moisturizer. Others use it as a nourishing make-up remover. I have used it on the remnants of a 3rd degree motorcylce exhaust pipe burn. I have absolutely no scar, no puckering skin, no discoloration. The first 2 years afterward the skin was slightly lighter than the rest, but after using SKN SAVR™ again, during the summer, for those years, there is nothing on my leg now to show it was there. This is all without chemicals. [woo hoo, that's a big deal to me!] Seabuckthorn Hair Therapy™. Apply to your hair and scalp and leave on for at least 10 minutes. Some leave it on overnight. Some leave it on all day. You can cover your head with a plastic cap and leave it on for deep conditioning. Some wash their hair in the shower with our Seabuckthorn Shampoo and then put the Seabuckthorn Hair Therapy™ on their hair, leaving it in til the next time they wash their hair. Some use our Seabuckthorn Hair Therapy™ when the hair is dry, with or w/o using the plastic cap as a covering for deep conditioning. The seabuckthorn in our formula kills the demodex mite. MAKE SURE YOU WASH YOUR HAIR THOROUGHLY to get the last vestiges of the oil out of your hair. Use some CHEAP shampoo to wash the oil out, it will take 2-4 washings, then use Blue Sage Naturals Seabuckthorn Shampoo for the final wash, leaving it in a minute or so. AND watch your step! The shower/tub floor is now VERY slippery! It should wash off in the subsequent washing of your hair and body. Use as often as you wish, it won't hurt your hair or scalp. I use it once every 10 days to 2 weeks when blow drying my hair or in Winter and Summer. Seabuckthorn Soap. Hands down, this is the best seabuckthorn soap you will ever use. We have literally hundreds of customers that read the ads for Face Doctor soap, and then went and bought Face Doctor soap. Some even bought the Face Doctor cream. I hear horror stories all the time from new customers on how Face Doctor soap dried out their skin, made it worse and on and on. All these folks then buy our soap and rave about the softness of their skin, how clear it is, how moisturized it is. Folks, there is no comparison. Wash your face and body like you normally do. You may leave the soap on for 5-10 seconds if you think it will help you. But remember, it is soap. If you use the soap only for your face, it should last you months. One gal told me hers lasted almost a year, that she used it only on her face. Use it in the shower for 2, it will last about 6-8 weeks, one person, about 2 month. Make sure the soap does not sit in water, or it will last less time. INGESTING SEABUCKTHORN OILS I can only tell you how I use the oils and for what, and what they have done for me. I usually only ingest the seed oil. Sometimes, when I think I should, I combine the two and take that. I cannot eat any acidic food without cankers coming. Strawberries, tomatos, walnuts [one of the worst], cantaloupe, the list goes on. If I ingest the oil daily, I rarely get a canker. When I don't, I get cankers, take 1/8-1/4 tsp in the last swallow of whatever juice at night, in the morning, it's gone. Unless it's a bad one, then I will have to take the same amount either that night, or once or twice during the day [when I remember], and at night. Or take 1 capsule [1/8 tsp]. Results when I ingest the oils: No more joint pain No inflammation in my body [I AM getting older] and here's a biggie...my eyesight improved. So said my eye doctor. AND when he gave me new glasses for the year, they were not as strong as the old ones. My digestion is better, or at least how my stomach feels on a day to day basis is better. Kills yeast in my body. The taste of the seed oil has been described by one customer as carrot flavored olive oil. That is pretty accurate. I take both oils blended because I want the benefits of both oils. If I had to take one oil only I would take the seed oil. Why? Because it has Omega 7, and it's the only oil with a high amount of it and because it has high amounts of Essential Fatty Acids [EFAs] of Omega 3 and Omega 6. It's also high in Vit. K, E, and Carotene [which converts to vitamin A] and more. Seabuckthorn Seed Oil. Seabuckthorn seed oil is a dark yellow. It is used straight on the skin, or mixed with other oils. There is no need to wash or take it off. Some use it for rosacea and say it really helps. They put it on the opposite time they use the Relief N Rescue™, if they are using that salve. Some have said about the 3rd week they start breaking out MORE with bumps and such. Some press through and keep using the seabuckthorn oil. Others say they stop using it for a week, then start again. Either way we are told using the seabuckthorn seed oil and/or Relief N Rescue™ gets rid of rosacea and really clears up their skin. Relief N Rescue™ cleared MY skin of rosacea and Harry's. [see photos] The choice is up to you how you want to use this fabulous oil. SeaBuckthorn Berry Oil Used internally and externally. Some mix it with a carrier oil and use to to make a glow on their face, like a tan-like glow for those with medium to dark colored skin. Some use it as a skin protector out in the sun, as the carotene absorbs UV rays. [don't ask me how much, I'm not a scientist, I don't know] :) Some use it to as a colorant, some use it in salad dressing. Many Many companies buy this from us to use in their own manufacturing processes. If you are VERY fair skinned, you may want to wash it off. See staining. Signature SBT Face Serum, Super Moisture Face Serum. Just apply to clean skin. Use the dropper it comes with and put it in your hands, rubbing your palms together and apply, or drip drops on your fingers and apply. Make sure you put it in the decollette area. [the base of your throat] Apply after cleansing your face, before bedtime, anytime! I use the Signature Face Serum in the summer and the Super Moisture in the Winter. So far, everyone that uses these face serums, love them. Yes, that is men and women both. It penetrates very well. Steve's Stuff™. Apply whenever and wherever. On clean skin please. I use it on my dry feet, Steve uses it on the 'atopic dermatitis' on his eyelids, ears, behind his knees and feet. I also use it on really itchy rashes to stop the itch. Others' apparently have this no-name dermatitis on their eyelids as well. I've had many people write in and tell me Steve's Stuff™ cleared up their eyelids, or their husband's eyelids, or their Mom's and so on. Seabuckthorn Shampoo. Wet hair. Apply, add water to your hair and work up a lather. Rinse, repeat. Leave the 2nd application on while you finish your showering. Rinse out. How often you shampoo is up to you. It's the same as you used with other shampoos before you found mine. Except this one makes a different in scalp and hair health, without a bunch of chemicals. Chronic Relief™ Oil. Apply to any place on the body that has an ache. This doesn't seem to work well for those with severe arthritis. But for folks with fibromyalgia, aches and pains, it works. It works quickly. Apply once, if you feel no relief after 5 or 10 minutes, apply again. If you have no one to put it on your back, put it on a door jam and rub up against it. [idea born out of desperation]. Aletha M in Washington State is an RN and loves this for getting rid of her pain. Her hubby Tom says this is 'great stuff, we can't be without it'! Ditto for us here. It takes away pain. I'll never be without it. Even if it's not on the website, write, because I will always have it. RECOMMENDATIONS People write all the time asking for recommendations for them. I would like to help you in this, so I am giving you my recommendations here. People with rosacea and eczema all tend to have the same type of skin. Tender, sensitive, dry. Most people come to me with a variety of skin issues, however the underlying problems are all the same. If you have rosacea: SBT Seed oil, SBT Soap, Relief N Rescue™. Use as outlined above. Eczema: SBT Soap and Relief N Rescue™ Hair/Scalp problems: SBT Shampoo and/or the SBT Hair Therapy™. Everyone needs a good shampoo, so get mine. It kills the demodex mite, cleans out the hair follicles, strengthens the hair shaft, smoothes the cuticle [where split ends and frizzies form]. Helps grow hair or make it thicker, brings the bounce back. It's really a superb shampoo. SBT Hair Therapy™: Moisturizes, conditions, strengthens, improves elasticity, kills the demodex mite, softens the hair, makes it shiny, thicker, helps grow hair in. Dry Skin: Super Moisture™ Face Serum, Signature Face Serum, SBT Soap, either Super Moisture™ or regular, Holy Basil Hydrosol [seasonal]. Itching, Mysterious Rashes: Steves Stuff. ICKY, BAD SKIN, SERIOUS REDNESS, BUMPS, DRY, REALLY SENSTIVE: Relax. Breathe. Realize what didn't happen overnight is not going to go away overnight. Stop using any products other than Blue Sage Naturals. Get the SBT Soap. If very very dry, get the Super Moisture™ soap and ask for a sample of the other. If moderately dry, get the regular [either scented with lemongrass essential oil or regular] and ask for a sample of the Super Moisture™ Soap. Get Relief N Rescue™. If you want to try a moisturizer, try one of the Face Serums. Signature if you are under 30 and Super Moisture™ above 30. Super Moisture™ Face Serum has argan oil in it. It's thicker than Signature. Signature is lighter in weight, with more variety of oils and essential oils. Get the Seabuckthorn Seed oil.
