This is how I take Sea Buckthorn seed oil and Sea Buckthorn berry oils.
I blend 1:1 of the sea buckthorn seed oil and the sea buckthorn berry oil. The Chinese, the only ones who take this oil on a regular basis, take 1/8 tsp of sea buckthorn SEED oil, which is 500 mg, 4 times a day. This equals 1 dropperful [droppers come with the 1 and 2 oz bottles]. Because I am not yet the healthiest critter around, I take 1/2 tsp, [2.5ml] twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. I take it once a day for maintenance. When my immune resistance is lower, I take .5 tsp 3 times a day, in the last swallow of whatever I'm drinking. We also bought a capsule machine and some 00 caps and make our own caps with the oils.
I do not get infections of my tonsil/body when I take at least .25 teaspoon a day. Sometimes I take it at nite, right before I go to bed, giving it a chance to work overnight. I experimented until I found the best amount for me to take. I also read information from the studies by Dr. Yang and PubMed.
Husband takes .5 tsp once a day. Steve says he knows it's good for him, even though he is generally healthy. We take it for all the Vit. A, carotenoids, B's, E, C, P, K and Omega 3, 6, 7 & 9's.
The results of taking it every day??? Oh gosh. No more infected tonsils, no joint pain, no acidic stomach, no cankers, eczema isn't as bad when I garden. My skin is clearer, I FEEL better. If I don't take the sea buckthorn oil blend, I get all kinds of flare-ups. Here's another item. A client that resells these oils, takes it internally and reported her doctor was amazed she had NO inflammation in her body. The Dr was insistant on her taking meds for the inflammation, she told him she would in a month, she wanted to try this first. See pictures.
To achieve greatest efficacy of our salves, we use as little unbleached beeswax as possible in our products, leaving the ingredients more room to be on your skin. If your product gets warm & looks like there's oil on top, just stir it!
