I have suffered with rosacea and mild seborrhea for 10+ years. I read in First magazine that sea buckthorn would help. I found your site by way of Yahoo about 3 months ago, and now I am BACK for more.

The soap has changed my life, my irritation has faded (even with hot flashes) and my skin is smoother. Even as dry as it has been this winter, I have not had to use a moisturizer as my skin feels in balance - no T-zone of oiliness. The change did not happen overnight - it has taken many weeks, so users must persevere.

I thought I would try using the soap under my arms and it has completely eliminated body odor (oh, the bacteria hate me now) from my underarms.

"Cindy and others, I am currently using Sea Buckthorn Soap and Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil. I started last Wednesday and I took before photos and am taking photos on spaced out days for the record.

Today is the end of 5 days of using the two products and I noticed on Day 3 that the pustale/pimples were flattening out, no bleeding when washing the face, no pain. In other words a small but definite improvement in a very short time. (I have had no improvement for months with Metro Gel).

The redness is less, although I have more of just the pustales/papules type of rosacea, which I call Steroidal Rosacea. I do feel I have the Demodex mites and it is for that the Sea Buckthorn seems to be working.

I am NOT using FaceDoctor soap, the soap I am using has not dried my face out and even if it did, I apply the Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil on my face after I let the soap lather sit for a few minutes and then rinse off and apply the Oil.
I was not going to make a post on this forum until one full week was up, but since you asked, I felt obligated to post.

"You will be able to judge for yourself from the picture below [Ed: link above] what differences you might see between November 24th and today, December 28th. I have been using Blue Sage Naturals Sea Buckthorn Soap every morning and every evening and occasionally at midday. I work up a slight lather on my face and let it dry for 2-5 minutes. I then rinse with cool water and for the most part during the past five weeks I have then been applying about 5 drops of Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil from an eyedropper and rubbing gently into my general face area with particular attention to my forehead and cheek and nose area. I never used the oil overnight, just the soap wash, although a few nights I tried "Serious Salve". [Ed: Now known as Relief N Rescue™]

I initially had an immediate improvement of pustales and papules diminishing on my nose area. That improvement held fast for most of the time, however, I have had two or three ocassions where a small breakout would occur, but would diminish as fast as it appeared. One such breakout just occured a couple of days ago and already is diminishing on my nose. I rate my nose improved about 70% at least in 5 weeks. :>)

My forehead, which is not in these photos, was basically good before I started. About 6 days into using the Soap and Seed Oil, I had numerous papules break out on my central part of my forehead up to the hairline. Some of them were the painfull to touch type. I have no explanation why the worst outbreak on my forehead occured during this treatment, but perhaps it is a result of Demodex mites dying or reacting in some way. Those papules had persisted for quite awhile and only recently are now vanishing and no new ones appearing. I rate my forehead as "hope the bumps were from the mites dying" :)

My Cheeks, they were the main reason I was so concerned with my Rosacea. Over the years, I only had problems with pustales on my nose area and redness between the eyebrows. It was only earlier this summer that the cheek area, especially in the crease area became horrible. Lots of sore redness, lots of pustales. I would scab over and it looked bad to me.
After applying the Sea Buckthorn, I have been seeing a slow but Steady progress with my cheeks and new pustales do not appear to be happening at all. I still have some redness, but no active pustales and I feel the biggest improvement in the 5 weeks so far have been my cheeks. I rate my cheek improvement at 85%!

I decided to show the "Before" and ""Now" picture. Let me say this, I used my flash on each picture and the flash pictures, make all redness look worst than what you see with normal indoor lighting, so even with that taken into account, I think the improvement is evident. I plan on continuing the Soap and Oil. Thanks for reading,"
